What we do
Every barrel of oil brings water with it.
For every barrel of crude a Delaware Basin well produces, it can bring up several barrels of salty formation water. That water can't go on the ground and it can't sit in your tanks forever. It has to go somewhere safe.
That's our whole job. A saltwater disposal well is built for one purpose: to take produced water and return it to a deep, permitted rock formation, far below the freshwater that ranchers and towns depend on. We run that well, and we run it like your operation depends on it, because it does.
STEP 1Pull in and offload
Day or night, haulers check in at the gate, hook up, and offload into our receiving tanks. Clear lanes and a straightforward check-in keep trucks moving.
STEP 2Separate and filter
We skim off residual oil, let solids settle out, and filter the water so it's ready for injection without fouling the formation.
STEP 3Inject deep
Treated water is injected into a permitted disposal zone thousands of feet down, with pressures monitored and recorded around the clock.
Rooted in the Permian
We've been here through every cycle.
Booms, busts, rig counts up and down. Buckeye has been handling produced water in the Delaware Basin and the greater Permian Basin for years, and we're not going anywhere.
Longevity means something practical to an operator. It means the facility you permit into your water plan this year will still be open next year. It means people at the gate who know the lease roads, the haulers, and the rules. And it means a partner that has already seen what the basin can throw at you.
Built on home ground, like the ram on our sign.
Local people
Our crew lives and works in the basin. When you call, you reach someone who knows the site and can make a decision.
Steady capacity
Disposal you can plan around, season after season. Call us to talk through capacity for your volumes.
Long relationships
Many of the operators and haulers we serve have been bringing water to Buckeye for years. We'd like to earn the same trust from you.
Why operators choose Buckeye
Easy to work with. Easy to find. Easy to trust.
Short waits at the gate
Trucks sitting in line cost you money. We keep offload lanes clear and the process simple so haulers get in and out.
Open when you are
The gate is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Your water doesn't stop on weekends, and neither do we.
Clean tickets, clear billing
Every load is logged and ticketed, so your volumes reconcile and your accounting team doesn't have to chase paper.
People who answer the phone
Questions about volume, pricing, or a truck at the gate go to a real person on our team, not a call center.
Safety
Safe is the only speed we run.
Produced water is salty, can carry hydrocarbons and H₂S, and moves in heavy trucks on rural roads. We take every part of that seriously, for our crew, your drivers, and the land around us.
When you send water to Buckeye, you're handing us part of your environmental responsibility. We treat it that way.
Permitted and compliant
Operated under our permit with the New Mexico Oil Conservation Division, with required reporting kept current.
Well integrity you can count on
Routine mechanical integrity testing and continuous injection pressure monitoring keep water where it belongs.
Contained at the surface
Tanks sit inside lined secondary containment, and our team is trained and equipped to respond fast if anything goes wrong.
Driver-first site rules
Clear site orientation, marked traffic flow, H₂S awareness, and PPE requirements for everyone on location.

What kind of water do you accept?
Produced water from oil and gas wells is the core of what we take. If you have a question about a specific load, call us at (218) 779-3892.
Do I need to set up an account before my trucks show up?
Setting up an account ahead of time keeps your first loads moving and your tickets billed to the right place. Send us an inquiry below and we'll get you set up, usually the same day.
Can you handle a steady volume from a new development?
Yes. Tell us your expected barrels per day and timeline, and we'll talk through capacity and pricing that fits your program.
Do you take pipeline deliveries?
No. Buckeye is a truck-delivery facility, and our gate is open to haulers 24/7.
